My sales career began in my early ’20’s when I obtained my Insurance Broker’s license, spending seven years in that profession. When personal computers became a viable business solution I was recruited into the software business and spent the next 25 years selling custom designed software applications for the real estate industry. The software products I sold automated every phase of a real estate transaction and gave me a good basis on which to build when I decided to obtain my Real Estate Broker’s license in 2006, shortly after moving to Oregon.
Today I am an Oregon Principal Broker, business owner, and a member of:
- National Association of Realtors
- Oregon Association of Realtors
- Portland Metropolitan Association of Realtors
- Regional Multiple Listing Service
My professional education designations include:
- GRI (Graduate Realtors Institute)
- SRES (Senior Real Estate Specialist)
- CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert)
Residential Real Estate is my area of expertise, assisting Sellers and Buyers through the entire process of buying or selling a property. There are many “steps” to a successful close of an escrow, any one of which can delay or possibly stop the transaction, if not followed diligently. My previous Project Management experience has been invaluable when applied to monitoring the details of a real estate transaction.
It is a great feeling to close an escrow, handing the keys to the excited new owner, and/or seeing the smile on the sellers face after a successful sale.
“Kris was much more than a Realtor to us, she became our friend when we decided to sell our condo. . . she used her experience and expertise and our home sold in 3 days with a cash sale and quick closing. We would not hesitate to recommend Kris to any of our family and friends who consider selling their property.”
